Hi, I’m Krystal—the human behind all these strange little creatures. 🖤

I spent a lot of my life feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, and somehow both quiet and chaotic at the same time. Art has always been my escape. As far back as I can remember, there have been filing cabinets, crates—or both—overflowing with art supplies somewhere nearby.

I’ve always loved creating, but finding my spooky little style changed everything. Suddenly, art became more than something I was good at. It became a place where I could turn the weird, heavy, funny, beautiful parts of life into something I could actually hold.

That’s where these creepy little friends come from.

Every creature I paint carries a memory with it. Sometimes it’s tied to a huge life moment. Sometimes it comes from nothing more than a ridiculous thought that made me giggle while I was painting. But each one holds a tiny piece of growth, healing, and me.

Krystalized Art is for the beautifully strange—the people who find comfort in the creepy, cuteness in the unusual, and a little bit of themselves in things that don’t quite fit the mold.
